Fly to western New York State, cruise through the beauty of the 1000 Islands Region of the St. Lawrence River, visit magnificent Boldt Castle on Heart Island, and enjoy an elegant dinner at lovely Belhurst Castle located on Seneca Lake and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. CELTIC BEAUTIES: SCOTLAND AND NORTHERN IRELAND           Includes Belfast, Ireland                                              June 12 - 22, 2021

An overnight flight takes us to Glasgow, Scotland where we’ll be joined by our Scottish tour manager and travel to Edinburgh for a guided city tour featuring Old and New Towns, and a tour of St. Gils’ Cathedral.  View Scotland’s Crown Jewels at the iconic Edinburgh Castle and visit the Royal Yacht Britannia, the Queen’s vessel. Stand in the “footprints” of William Wallace and Stirling Bridge then visit Stirling Castle where we’ll hear stories of knights, nobles and foreign ambassadors.  We’ll stay at the beautiful Atholl Palace Hotel for three nights.  We’ll travel through Cairngorms National Park to the Scottish Highlands and enjoy a Loch Ness cruise.  Watch an amazing sheepdog demonstration where the dogs work together to maneuver sheep through various obstacles.  Take a scenic drive through Trossachs National Park which boasts some of the most stunning scenery in the world before we stop for a tour and tasting at Glenturret Distillery.  After a city tour of Glasgow, we board a flight for Belfast, Northern Ireland.  A guided city tour is followed by a visit to Titanic Belfast to learn the story of the RMS Titanic from her conception in Belfast to her tragic end.  Journey along The Antrim Coast Road Drive, one of Ireland’s most scenic coastal routes, and stop at the Giant’s Causeway, a remarkable formation of 37,000 columns.  Walk on Derry’s 17th century walls and view the Derry Peace Bridge during our walking tour of the city. Visit the Ulster American Folk Park, an outdoor museum of emigration history.  Watch a hand weaving demonstration in the Triona Design shop and enjoy free time for shopping and a complimentary Irish Coffee.  We’ll have a guided tour of Belleek the world-famous fine Parian China manufacturing center.  Our tour culminates in Dublin where we will spend the night before our flight home.         Final Payment: March 1st

* USA TODAY:  Sixth Floor Museum -  Whether you're a history buff or a conspiracy theorist, you'll find the Sixth Floor Museum an interesting source of information about the assassination and legacy of President John F. Kennedy on November 22, 1963. The museum's exhibits contain over 45,000 items, ranging from artifacts to home movies and video footage, documenting Kennedy's presidency through to his final days. One of the highlights of the tour is the Plexiglas enclosed area where Lee Harvey Oswald is believed to have fired the fateful shot. After visiting the museum, be sure to go down to the grassy knoll to gain more perspective about what transpired that tragic day.

This magnificent Holiday destination is in the works, but wanted to give a taste of what is to come on this upcoming historical and educational excursion.

Join us on a journey that will take you from the earliest days of the birth of our nation to a modern-day place where heroes are trained to protect our freedom.  Fly to Norfolk, Virginia, and transfer to Williamsburg for a two-night stay.  Enjoy dinner at one of Williamsburg’s historic taverns and get a good night’s rest so that you have plenty of energy for a full day of independent exploration of Colonial Williamsburg.  Become a part of the saga of the American Revolution as the city comes alive to depict the days, months, and years leading up to that historic time.  The following day we’ll visit Mount Vernon, the historic plantation estate of our first president, George Washington, en route to Washington D.C. where we’ll check into our hotel for three nights.  Take a dinner cruise on the Potomac River.  Visit many of the Memorials and Monuments that honor the visionaries, revolutionaries, patriots, and heroes that were responsible for shaping the country we live in today.  See the grave of John F. Kennedy and the Changing of the Guard at Arlington Cemetery.  Enjoy a free afternoon to explore the museums that interest you most at the Smithsonian Institution, the world's largest museum complex and research organization.  Our final destination is Annapolis where we will tour the United States Naval Academy before we head to the Baltimore-Washington airport for our flight home, filled with an uplifted, patriotic spirit.
